      Welcome to the Perth Autumn Studio Tour which takes place once a year on Thanksgiving Weekend. The dates for this year are Saturday, Sunday and Monday, October 11, 12, and 13, 2008, 10am to 5 pm. *Admission is free*

     Located within 25 kilometres of picturesque Perth, the Tour showcases one of Eastern Ontario’s finest selections of contemporary fine arts and crafts against a backdrop of Mother Nature at her best. There are demonstrations at many of the studio stops, and several feature outstanding garden walks.

      The Perth Autumn Studio Tour is a very special showcase for contemporary fine crafts. In 1999 this extraordinary group of artisans was awarded a grant by the Ontario Arts Council in recognition of the high standard of work presented over the previous ten years. It was the only studio tour in Ontario to receive such an award.

Our studio links on this site provide some preview images of the wide variety of wonderful works you will see when you join us on our tour. Jewellery, etchings, pottery, furniture, sculpture, and wood carvings are only a few of the works you will visit on this tour. Start at any location number, the routes are well marked.

      This year's Studio Tour includes 19 artists. Most are from the Perth area while others have been juried and invited to attend from other parts of Eastern Ontario. To minimize your driving time we’re presenting our works in seven different rural studios clustered near Perth in very accessible and beautiful locations.
