A Few More Details:
Located within 25 kilometres of picturesque Perth, the Tour showcases one of Eastern Ontario’s finest selections of contemporary fine arts and crafts against a backdrop of Mother Nature at her best. Most of the artisans you will meet on the Tour work in and around Perth, a town renowned for its physical beauty and its long tradition of fine craftsmanship. Over the years the Perth Autumn Studio Tour has encouraged other artists from Eastern Ontario to join us. We hold a juried selection annually so that each Thanksgiving visitors will find something new. This year we present a total of 21 artists and makers of fine craft exhibiting their work at 6 rural studios.

To minimize the driving we've kept the number of stops small and clustered together in very accessible and beautiful rural locations. We want you to be with us in our studios, not on the road.

schoolFor over 20 years, the Brooke Valley School has been providing a hearty harvest lunch for people on the tour, or in the community who just want a good meal and good company. Come visit the one room schoolhouse of this parent run cooperative school and enjoy a hot lunch, dessert and drinks prepared with locally grown and organic ingredients. Gluten free, dairy free, vegetarian and vegan options are available. Lunch is served from 11:30 am to 3:30 pm daily. All proceeds directly support the cost of operating the school. (If you're staying over for dinner, Perth has everything from fast food to fine dining. Ask any of the local artisans for recommendations.)

You can easily access the Tour by simply following the map and the frequent high profile Studio Tour signs along the route. A good plan would be to print out the map here or send us an email for an original copy of the brochure.

We hope you have a great Thanksgiving outing and enjoy the spectacular fall colours of Lanark County. If you have any further questions you can call Riverguild Fine Crafts in Perth: (613) 267-5237 during normal business hours.
