The Perth Autumn Studio Tour is a well-established venue through
which craftspeople and artists sell their work over a 3 day period
on the Thanksgiving weekend each year. Approximately 3000 visitors
will travel between the studios, which are in close proximity to
each other, to meet the makers, view their work space and buy the
work. Over the years our tour has established a reputation as a
very well organized display of varied, high quality work.
Each year we encourage other crafts people to participate as guests,
displaying their work in the studios of the tour members. We jury
new applicants with attention to quality of work, suitability to
available space and variety as compared to the other work on the
tour.
The application deadline is April 30. Guest spaces are limited and the appropriate location
will be decided during the jury process and confirmed with each
guest at a later date.
The cost of participation is $350. Please
include a cheque for this amount with your application postdated
to June 1, of the current year and payable to Perth Autumn Studio Tour. NSF
cheques risk elimination of applicant from the tour. Your cheque
will only be cashed upon your acceptance to the tour and confirmation
of your participation.
Please include with your application:
- completed application form
- a short artist statement
- a resume
- a portfolio of your work in photo format (photos 4x6 or larger),
or digital format (jpg) on a CD
- if possible include some samples of your work
- Post dated cheque
